In Boston’s 7-5 road win over the Los Angeles Kings, Sanderson had a hat trick and assist for four points in the game. His second goal of the game, 14 seconds into the third period, served as the game winner. He scored his hat trick goal just 34 seconds later on L.A. goalie Gerry Desjardins, with help from Glen Sather and Ed Westfall.
Turk’s lone assist was on a Sather goal with eleven seconds left in the second, meaning the Bruins scored three over a span of 59 seconds, with an intermission in between. Earlier in the second period, Boston scored three goals in 1:35.
